La scultura di dati, che sarà esposta negli spazi di BOOM, mostra una rappresentazione visiva dei dati e come essi influiscono sulla nostra vita quotidiana. Questa installazione è creata da tecnologie avanzate, tra cui proiezioni, luci e suoni, che creeranno un'esperienza immersiva generativa, sinestetica e coinvolgente per il pubblico. Utilizzando varianti dell'attrattore di Lorenz, conosciuto da tutti per l'effetto farfalla, l'installazione mostra come piccole variazioni iniziali possono avere conseguenze significative sul comportamento futuro. Il pubblico può interagire con l'opera muovendosi nello spazio, toccando i dati visualizzati e intuendo il loro effetto sulla propria vita quotidiana. Gilles Deleuze Un incontro di due ricerche parallele, una quella di Kenzo che nasce dagli incroci delle punte dei suoi uncinetti che fa nascere una parvenza di organicità nelle linee e sulle superfici delle sue creazioni. La stessa organicità ricercata nei codici e negli algoritmi di Mantelli. Entrambe immersi nelle pieghe dove si nasconde una profondità che merita di essere contattata. L’incontro di questi due mondi alla parvenza così distanti, non è casuale. La storia degli algoritmi è intimamente connessa con quella dei tessuti. Gli antenati dei moderni calcolatori sono proprio i telai che hanno ispirato Charles Babbage guardando alle invenzioni di Jacquard. I capi di Kenzo diventano così esplorabili in un’altra dimensione, grazie agli algoritmi iniettati tra le pieghe e i filati. We are embarking in a journey from the ludic desire of a rebellious computer to the automatic luddism of a machine-like aesthetics with a tendency towards disobedience and oriented to the electric filter of an aesthetics frozen in the creation act of an anarchic beauty of malfunction.
